As you are aware, Sherwood Grange Public School was made non-operational Tuesday 24th August 2021 for the onsite attendance of staff, students, and visitors due to a student who tested positive for COVID-19.
The NSW Department of Education and NSW Health have been working closely to ensure the health and safety of all students and staff is maintained. This work has included identifying close contacts of the confirmed case.
The students and staff identified as close contacts have been notified and asked to self-isolate for the required period.
The school has been thoroughly cleaned and our school will be operational from Thursday 26th August 2021 for any child who is unable to learn from home.
The safety and wellbeing of our staff and students are of paramount importance to us at all times. As such we will continue to work closely with NSW Health to ensure that all necessary health advice is adhered to.
